About Crosswinds
Crosswinds is a 445-acre master-planned community in Kyle, Hays County, located off Windy Hill Road west of Interstate 35. The original development concept was announced in 2011 by EB Windy Hill L.P. Allegiant Realty Partners, formed by two Dallas-based land development firms, acquired the community in mid-2014 and delivered the first 225 homesites in spring 2016. The community officially opened to buyers in May 2017. At buildout, Crosswinds is planned for 1,400 single-family lots.
Six builders are currently active in the community: Brightland Homes, Highland Homes, MileStone Community Builders, Pacesetter Homes, Pulte Homes, and Perry Homes. Homes are single-family detached residences on 40-foot, 50-foot, and 60-foot wide lots, with floor plans ranging from approximately 1,500 to 3,000 square feet across three- to five-bedroom designs.
Crosswinds dedicates 130 acres to parks, trails, and greenbelts — nearly a third of the community's total acreage. The Windy Point Amenity Center features a resort-style pool, splash pad, tot pool, and grilling porch with pavilion.
